Makemo

Makemo is the third largest lagoon in this archipelago. Its lagoon has a width ranging from 5-8 km, but its length is 65 km (from the northwest to the southeast) . The two deep passes connect the lagoon with the open sea. The shape of this atoll is quite unique.
