Takapoto

Takapoto is located in 10 km southwest of Takaroa and 70 km southeast of Manihi.
There is no pass where a ship can sail, though the small spillways cut the motu into pieces in the northwest part and the southeast part of the atoll.
Although Takapoto is a rather small atoll， the lagoon is deep, and its depth reaches 40m.
